Re: I like the way you're thinking...

Re: Re: temps
I would say 0 is a good bet. It's been a warm season so far, but I haven't found the Green Mountains to be significantly warmer in winter than the whites (at similar elevations, at least). ...

Re: glastenbury mtn.

Re: not really...

I'm researching until my eyes bleed :) Just in response to Jeremy's post about which areas are most suitable: Glastenbury would be a good hike, and I'd forgotten that there's one...

Re: Gossamer Gear Murmur Dyneema DX First Look
Very interesting. I wonder how much weight could be dropped by removing the waist belt, sternum strap, those shoulder D-rings, and anything else extraneous. At 14 ounces, that's about the same ...

Re: Re: Location?
Oh yeah... forgot about that. But it's a good point. Out of the list above, Stratton is really good in many ways, which is why I've been pushing that as a location for a while (not just ...

Location?
I was thinking a bit too much about this today at work, and I think I've come up with enough locations that we'll have to do three or four trips over the course of the winter to even scratc...
