Adan, Thanks for the comments. I agree that I could shave the weight more by using thinner foam under the pillow and at my legs. I'll try it with cheap foam but not this nice (and expensive)...

The Suluk46 pads are garbage in my opinion. Mine tore just by attaching it to my pack. I'll gladly carry 2 more ounces for a long term solution.
