It's the same size as most regulars based on other bags I own maybe a little longer. I didn't state wether it's a large or medium because I have no tags for the bag so I dont know

padding
yes the final model will have a pad sheet of 3/8 inch foam. however the frame is designed to avoid pressure contact with your body, and it does this pretty darn well

tall?
man how tall are you 6,7 ? it would fit a 6,4 person unless your trying to tuck your head in it when i say usable length thats from the inside of the foot box to the end of the bag
