I really like my cap2 and if you have had success with it you might consider just sizing down. However, it tends to get stinky quickly which is where wool really takes the cake. I have literally no...

some methods from the climbing community
Prevention is probably the way to go and I have had good luck with my climbing shoes by just chalking them up with the same chalk that I would use for my hands which simply acts as a drying agent. ...

Hauling water
I was wondering if anybody out there has any advice for carrying 5L of water at a time. I often use a GG Mariposa which is easy to fit 5L into because of the large volume and tall mesh pockets. How...

make your own
You can just by a few feet of 1 inch tubular webbing and tie your own. I have tried it before and it isn't very comfortable so I wouldn't used it for leading, but I'll bet its pretty li...

have you ever tried just not using a hip belt? I have recently made the switch to going without it and I haven't looked back. Not being buckled to my pack felt liberating and honestly really sp...

My girlfriend used this pack on our PCT SOBO thru-hike. She is tough on her gear, but it lasted pretty well and shows very little in the way of wear. However, she still had a few gripes. One was that ...
