About Me My name is Ryan Faulkner, i am 17 years old, and have been UL backpacking for about 7 years. I have been inspired by hikers like Andrew Skurka, and Ryan Jordan, and have dedicated my trips to going light and fast.
I plan on hiking the PCT and AT before finishing college, and after I hope to get some sort of a career in the backpacking industry.(I havent quite figured out how exactly, but i will :)
I have some big plans for the future, but ill keep those quiet for now ;-P

I leave tommorow
I am leaving tommorow for this trip. Right now I am plannig on the #2 because I havent tested the clo-up in thease comditions, but if anyone has experince with 40-45 degree bags in 34 degree weathe...

David, Try the drop stoppers micropore suit. it is very breathable and light and if you dont like it you only lose $15

no, I am planning on getting a coccon but the only other option I have now is a 1.5lb down jacket.On the other hand I sleep pretty cold I guess, at Least I ussually agree with a temp rating using...
