My Locale Grants Pass, Oregon
About Me I'm a Physician Assistant working at a lung clinic. I'm married and have two young daughters. I dabble in ultralight, bushcraft, and even car camping. I enjoy making my own equipment, but also believe some things make more since to buy. Volunteering with the local search and rescue gives me a practical use for light weight gear.

Re: wash pack

Would anyone buy a SUL children's sleeping bag?
Thanks for the feedback. Obviously, a high quality down sleeping bag is not a mainstream item. If there was already a good source for purchasing one I would not be considering this venture. Howe...

I've made several high quality children's down sleeping bags and am seriously considering producing them on a small scale. I would be curious what type of children's bag BPL members wo...

Many brands of chapstick are essentially petroleum and burn just as well as Vaseline when mixed with cotton balls. I consider my chapstick backup fire starter. I wonder how many containers of Car...
