I tried one of those liners you mention and they are not good at all, clothing would be better once its not constricting the down. I do use a silk liner in summer to keep my bag clean.

Hi Rob, For 3 season I use the lightest shelled down clothing I can get as I can stick a hard shell or wind shirt over it. For winter I prefer a shell on my Parkas such as GWS or Pertex Enduranc...
