My Locale Extreme northern Sierra Nevada
About Me I'm 60, single male. I had been in Retail Management for over 30 years. I have mostly solo bped since the early mid '70's. I XC some, not afraid to go alone, I also solo winter camp, even out in sub-zero temps. A few years ago, I went on a backcountry bp to Alaska, where I flew in by bush plane with five others into Wrangell/St. Elias NP. Since early 2010, I have been collecting vintage/antique camping and bp stoves, having acquired over 90 now. I like many outdoor activities, from bping to dirtbike riding, gardening.

Hexamid???
The pole can be moved out some, giving more protection also. Just lowers the headroom a little. Kinda flattens the shelter a little. Duane

I used my ZPacks bivy for the first time last weekend in the Bucks Lake Wilderness, close to home. Note the corners staked out, I think they needed to be off the ground a little, I can't see h...

WTB--Coleman 222 or Peak 1 type lantern or mantleless lantern
Thanks for the offers, I found a 222A over on the Coleman Collectors Forum. Dan, too much for the F1 although I see it is a very light lantern, do not care for a package deal, just a lantern. I&#...
