About Me Started backpacking in 1968 with my first and only Kelty Pack. Have enjoyed many adventures in Los Padres, Sierra Nevada, Cascades, and coastal hiking in the Pacific Northwest.Colin Fletcher was my mentor in my youth and I now enjoy the kind and knowledgeable folks at BPL.

SWEEN CREAM (found at most pharmacies) the best I have found for dry cracked skin. Also works for burns, chaffing and itching. I always take a small vile. Bill

Gerry, I do not know if they have changed the shoulder straps and hip belt since the 2011 model. The pictures on the website look identical to my pack but I would call HMG to be sure. Bill
