Have you tried comparing boil times for the cool pot lid vs. the light one? The cool lid seems to seal pretty well so it might actually work better.

Delmar, You're right, it was a "no ice" test. The reflectix seems to work very well. Only did one burn, but it was very close to the range of results for the welding blanket. Just a ...
