Re: Re: Re: Jetboil Sol meltdown
Marko, I have only read of two cases, both of which involved a boil over of food and not water. If there are other cases, we should hear about them. But we don't. Unless someone wants to p...

Re: Paleo Meals to Go
I have had some contact with these folks. Pricey meals. One could easily make a similar meal for half the price.

Re: Re: Jetboil Sol meltdown
"Jetboil seem to have decided on a 'tough it out' approach to the problem, rather than re-engineering the pot or replacing damaged ones, which is a pity." Do we know this as fa...

Re: ideas?
Dan, definitely at those weights I would avoid a frameless pack. Given the volume and load requirement, I might look at the new Paradox Packs Unaweep. External framed and from all accounts an ext...

Re: Re: Torso length and sizing for GoLite packs
"Dan, I'd get a large. In fact, unless cost is a major factor I'd get another pack." Indeed.

Re: Re: Re: Re: WTB Jetboil Sol (or talk me out of it)
Get the Jetboil. 3 years if use and no failure (way blown out of proportion). Big eater here and no issue with the pot size. It has proven fast and reliable for me.

Re: Torso length and sizing for GoLite packs
I have an 18.5" measurement and much prefer the Large. You will always get significant torso collapse with a frameless pack so keep that in mind.

Tough company to deal with. Most of their stock they drop ship direct from the manufacturer so although you may see something and put it in your cart and order it, it will not be currently available....
