Drill out the Snowpeak?
drilling some holes in the snowpeak whould be fine... it's PE, but pouring water through it shouldn't hurt anything...

Silicon Ceramic
Likely a microsocopic coating of SiO2 or something similar... aka Glass or Pyrex or Corning Ware... if you trust these to be non-toxic so is the coating.

Interesting... thanks for the heads up.
It appears from the pictures at the site that it is 44" long. and it is designed for the pillow to be on the ground. backpack / bag should easily support your feet. Definitely keep us updated...
