My Locale Louisville - KY
About Me I have been backpacking for 18 years, and going light or ultralight for the past 4 or 5. I work for a local outfitter and try my best to spread the UL philosophy to most newcomers to the hobby.
I also teach Outdoor Universiy classes, spreading basic knowledge and informing newcomers of whats needed and expected when beginning to backpack. I am also an event organizer for the Louisville Hiking Meetup group.

Lantern and Stove in one
Thats pretty cool Josh. For the small Primus lantern, it seems like it would be quite easy to have a simple fold out pot support from the sides of the lantern "globe". And at 4.4 oz as is...

Mountain Sprouts
Mountain Sprouts makes some cool kids outdoors clothes, and icebreaker has a kids line as well. ZOB makes some really cool recycled wool kids hats/beanies.

Less fuel
IN reality, if you were going to be using the lantern anyway, you arent using any additional fuel to boil the water. Might as well get 2 uses from the same amount of fuel. Sure the lantern is 4.4oz...

Nice tent
I agree that this is an awesome tent for the price, and Donny deserves to sell it since he convinced his wife to join him!

i never wash
I never wash my down bags, never. I have a 10 year old WM Irquois that has over 500 nights in it and its never been washed. I ALWAYS wipe down before climbing in and always use a bag liner.

Jim Wood SuperCat
It makes me laugh that my friends with their expensive and heavy jet-boils have near the same boil times as my 50 cent stove. So simple, so easy, so perfect.
