a tip is to put yr synthetic or fleece jacket over the top of yr bag ... and yr rain jacket over the top of the footbox a hawt nalgene also pushes out the moisture as to dry? .... hahahaha...

not the "accepted" BPL wisdom
i too use WPB runners ... i simply find a pair that is mostly mesh and has minimal leather/uppers ... your feet will get damp, but they will stay WARM .... as you dont constantly have water squ...

two things - the flurocarbons used are similar to that used on the DWR of jackets (and many home products) ... one should stop using those if they feel theres any issues - the UL jackets wont...

the key to using this jacket is to use it under a windshell or synthetic jacket like a nanopuff by itself the shell is fairly fragile, there are no pockets, there is no waist string ... however ...
