these are time problem methods used by folks in the moutains/polar regions also note that even if its cold the sun can help dry the bag ... a dark colored bag helps this process ;)

Well the problem with cheap in this case is that a cheap charger or li-on bat can damage other gear or be dangerous As you found out when yr usb charger gave out 12v ... Heres a test of vario...

like ive said li-on chargers and bats is the one place NOT to cheap out ... and im a fan of quite a few cheap things ;)

- use a powerbank which has good base batteries ... either build your own or look it up ... some like the powerpond that MEC sells use Panasonic inside - good powerbank will have 80%+ efficiency...
