I had an Exstream purifier bottle
I hated it! The flow through the tube was pathetic even while squeezing and drawing from the tube. REI took it back.

Another fine review from Mr. R.
I had not thought about external pole junctions on single wall tents capturing snow but it makes perfect sense.

Dave is the real deal
I bought my Litespeed from him and it was a killer deal.

How could you all overlook Lamilite?
The human hand grenade (Wiggy) is likely to go bezerk over this glaring omission.

Warmth, Comfort and NO BS
I have the hooded version of the Aspen MF. You will find it to be easily capable of exceeding the rating. Compare this to the total BS ratings on may bags. Lets just pick on Kelty* as an exampl...

I got a shipping confirmation email from Fed-Ex
Maybe PJ is correct as this was an Integral Designs bag I've been waiting for. Still, when you have someone on the phone telling you your order will ship that day I expect it to ship. It did...

Nesco American Harvest Food Dehydrator
Cheap Chinese junk. I'm using my oven at 140 degrees with equal or better results.

Wiggy's Super Light
This bag was purchased for winter car camping trips to the desert. I was not concerned with the bag's considerable weight and bulk for this role. The materials that make up the bag should be qu...

Patagonia DAS Parka
A 4 because the main zipper pull looks pretty fragile. I like the breathability of this parka. Reminds me of my MH Chugach (also Polarguard 3D) in the way it dries your other layers after you put i...

Backpacker's Pantry Kung Pao Chicken
For an "All Natural" meal this thing tastes like a chemistry experiment. Not good at all...maybe the worst FD meal I've ever tried. They obviously tried to hide the disgusting flavor ...

This stove is heavy and loud. Surprisingly loud! It doesn't simmer and it is downright bulky. Why the 5 rating? Because for melting vast quantities of snow (or ice) this thing cannot be beat un...

Penny Stove soda can version
I "geeked out" on DIY alcohol stoves and built probably 50 over 2 years. The Penny performs well but in my tests it only beat an openjet Pepsi can stove by 30-35 seconds. I also played wi...

Snow Peak Trek 700
The lid from the Vargo mug fits fairly well and it is Ti. I think the SP 700 is a nicer pot. I switch to an aluminum foil lid unless I plan on draining pasta. The steel lid is really secure as a st...
