About Me After lugging around 45lbs+ through a Nat'l Park or two, I decided UL was the way to go and haven't looked back. URL is to my Geargrams list for most of my 3-season trips. My other hobby is photography, if the destination is worth it, then add 1 to 7lbs to my base weight for camera gear. In case you were curious, my profile avatar image is Buck (aka 9 mile) Creek of the High Sierra Trail in Seki NP.

Re: 1/8"
Lawson, any updates bringing these pads to market? As for size, same vote for me as Stephen - 1/8" thick, and big size so I can cut it down to whatever I want if need be. I would use it fo...

Re: Re: One Headlamp to Rule them All?
There was a thread on the gear deals forum about this same kickstarter project (bosavi headlamp) - yeah, it looks pretty cool, and could be considered a good UL option if the final shipping product...

The majority of my usual trail companions are friends and acquaintances of James - and to them (and to James' family as well), I can only hope that this development will bring them what peace t...

Re: Travel pants
I'd recommend the golite siskiyou pants if they ever come back in stock in more sizes. Only large/XL in stock right now... Edit: the golite's appear to have one cargo style pocket, so ma...

Re: Ion
@Gary - So my medium sized torso would probably play nice with a large Ion? I had read somewhere that chest size makes a difference for fitting this pack as well, and I'm not exactly barrel-ch...
