Are the coffee "tea bags." But then you have to carry the wet soggy bag out. Folgers also makes a version of via, much less expensive and I much prefer it.

It depends
Winter - mid with bivy. Summer - mid with bug inner. I also use bug inner only. I live in the east with the bugs. Out west, I might even just do mid with sheet.

Wrong application
With a full bag in that shelter a bivy is doing more harm than good. I does great as a wind block when used with a quilt. Or for splash protection when used with open tarp. Now for the tough...
