Re: neoshell vs event
Both eVent and Neoshell are in the same ball park on breathability IIRC. I think the eVEnt Luke uses is 3 layer so I think durability will be close between them. Price difference? Weight? I own...

Re: Zero + Small NeoAir + Quilt + CCF Frame?
What pack weights are you looking at? I think that will decide which pack to take. There's nothing you can do to in order to make that Zero comfortable above 20lbs IMO. I use an original NeoAir...

Re: Re: Another nod for Marmot
I've had a couple WM's and I currently own a Marmot Meteor 15. Both brands have been great with WM having a better design and quality, but the Marmot was $300.00 cheaper so I don't mind...

Re: talk to me about cuben hybrid packs
I've owned four different packs made from hybrid cuben. I'm a big fan. With that said, if you compare it to Xpac fabrics it will usually come in 2nd place IMO. It's only real advantage...

Re: Re: Off Trail Hiking in East Tennessee
