I made close to what you are thinking. I'm 5'7 125, so similar. I used the SIN50 design with M90 and came to 13oz so with slightly lighter fabric you could get near 10oz. Only neede...

Yes.. i treat hiking like mtn biking or moguls.. avoid the big bumps, rocks, roots. don't go over if you can go around. I do use my poles on flats and downhills if unless it is empty trail...
