too narrow
i found them to be too narrow. New Balance makes wider and good shoes.

synth equivalent
what would be the synth equivalent for you? 100g/sqm synthetic fill or more? I suppose everything lighter that the 100g fill might be to cold, right?

Sounds like that one would be better of with the full aluminium version. I wouldn't feel safe using the titanium version right now. Fortunately nobody was hurt.
