My Locale England
About Me Originally from Georgia, USA now living in England. Enjoy being outdoors and doing any sort of activity from walking, camping, hiking, cycling, whatever as long as I'm in the outdoors.
Most comfortable in the woods but I love watching the sunrise and set from the top of everything. Only got into tarping and lightweight backpacking this year 2010.

Syn life vs Down life
What is the expected life span of a synthetic quilt? One of the reasons I prefer a down quilt is that it will last me at least 10 years if cared for properly. It's worth the extra effort and co...

Wood Stove - The Aliens Have Landed

Re: I need a bug net suggestion
Bob This probably might be to 'heavy' of a solution. I picked up a single skin tent for £12.99 this week, couldn't resist at that price, and they have a bug net and a waterproof door ...
