Woubeir, Now I understand. The two 2013 models tested identically and so I strongly suspect there is not inconsistent coating from the fabric-supplier.

Woubeir, The Arcteryx' Squamish jackets with the same coating test the same CFM. They haven't changed their coating every year, but they do periodically. See Here
