Hiking in compression tights
I always thought that compression tights were meant to be worn while exercising not after? Perhaps its like strapping your entire body instead of strapping a joint, e.g. knee to give extra support....

Vaccinations
It might be difficult for the baby to have all the required vaccines prior to leaving. For some catch up vaccinations later wouldn't be an issue but some things they should probably be immunise...

Overheating
Why not just not take your cholesterol tablets while hiking? Unless you've recently had a heart attack its a long term benefit and a few days won't matter.
