That should be a great loop. I've been up to lower lewis lake on one trip and iceland/ridge lake on another but I've never combined the two.

I used RIT dye from the local craft store with hot water in a bucket. Works fine, no bleeding into clothing or anything. I also have an 3 year old ohm 2.0 dyed black the same way with no issues.

Dry socks for sleeping.
I used to always carry dry socks for sleeping, but lately I just sleep with no socks. Is there any real advantage to wearing socks over no socks when sleeping after a day with wet feet?
