About Me I was born in Philadelphia, USA, in 1964, and have lived all over the world including India, Africa, the UK and Australia, where I worked on a cattle station in the Kimberley before starting work as a photographic assistant in 1988. I started working as a freelance photographer in London in 1991, worked in India and South East Asia for two years in 1998/9, then lived in Bristol for three years between 2000 and 2002 completing a Master of Arts. I have been based in Barcelona, Spain since 2003.

Backpacking Checklist (Gear List): 3-Season, 3-Day
Great list, close to my set up, although for three days, I'd leave the stove at home and save the weight and hassle of cooking and enjoy the lighter load. YMMV.
