About Me Hiking is something I kind of fell into to. I have always enjoyed camping both as a child and now as an adult. When my brother decided to take up hiking I noticed that all my friends enjoyed it too.
I like the minimalist philosophy of less is more. From the beginning I have made an effort to carry as little weight as possible and only what I need. The concept was one I had been practicing on family vacations and trips since I was a teenager.

James, I suspect I have the same stuff. My brother found it at a surplus store and got me some. According to the oh-so reliable wikipedia (yes, sarcasm), 1-3-5 Trioxane mixed with Hexamine resul...

Dr. Bronner's Eucalyptus Soap and Bugs
Thanks for the advice. I think I'll try out the Eucalyptus soap. This will be a first for me since I've never been the "clean" type in the woods.
