My understanding of the design of the FA garments is that the guides went through their gear and listed of the features they used and did not use. Those that they did not use were not incorporated....

I am a member of the Superior Hiking Trail Association, and have been since ~June 2008. I figured that after I thru-hiked the trail, I owed it to the SHTA to contribute to their efforts.
