Firebox
I have the 5" Firebox which works very well, but I use it on motorcycle camping trips. Cooks well and also a source of a small fire/heat after dinner.

For winter camping yes most definitely, but the ultralight isn't applicable. Check out Ray Mears, among others. When the temps are below 40 degrees I want a campfire, and "foraging"...
