About Me Growing up in Montana, I was immersed in the outdoors since day one and have been backpacking for about 45 years, both as an avocation and for a few years professionally for the Forest Service. I also enjoy snowshoeing, nordic & alpine skiing, cycling, kayaking, photography, and solo trips.

Hi Jeff! For a versatile traditional double-wall tent consider the Montbell Monoframe Diamond. It's billed as a three season tent, but because it vents so effectively I use mine four seasons....
