My Locale SouthEast
About Me 39 year old living in Greenville, SC. I grew up playing in the woods of the PeeDee region of SC. I'm an avid cyclist with a new found passion for bikepacking. I do most of my bike camping, hiking, kayaking and cycling in SC, NC & GA. I've settled in at about 10 to 12 pounds completely loaded at this point - a balance of comfort walking and in camp.

Golite Ion Modifications
I finally got around to adding the mesh pockets to my Ion. The pictures don't do my piggy sewing justice but its sturdy. I'm looking forward to a warm weather trip to try it out on.

Leki
I have some Lekis that are in great shape for 'beaters'. One of the threaded tube ends is a touch loose in the end of the tube so you get a tick - tick - tick when hiking. I could have fixe...

BPL Quilts
Does anyone have experience with a WM Caribou and the BPL 60? How do they compare in terms of compressibility and packed size?
