My Locale John S. hasn't told us about their geographical region yet.
About Me Originally from Louisiana, I enjoyed camping in my Boy Scouting days and eventually became an Eagle Scout. Many years later (2002), I discovered backpacking after going on an REI multisport trip to Alaska. My first backpack was to Grand Canyon, and I was hooked!

I simply wear a loose button down long sleeve shirt, Ex Officio brand. A snug baselayer in heat will only lessen evaporative cooling.

Re: lightest alcohol stove & pot setup
The lightest alcohol stove would probably be a tea candle stove with hardware cloth stand and a 1 cup sterno or bean dip cookpot with foil lid. The weight would be around 2 oz.
