any weave softshell pants ... i use dead bird myself because i can get it at discount prices patagucci, OR, MH, EB FA, REI, etc ... all make em ... weave, not membrane unless ur going into very ...

1. pour some water along each part of it, especially over abrasion areas .... does the water bead off? ... if not the DWR has degraded ... you could revitalize it 2. look for any signs of delam...

softshell
weave softshell pants, not the membrane ones ... use em rock climbing ... patagucci is just one example ... dead bird, EB first ascent, OR, MH, REI, etc ... all make their own ... whatever fits...

the key to using this jacket is to use it under a windshell or synthetic jacket like a nanopuff by itself the shell is fairly fragile, there are no pockets, there is no waist string ... however ...
