WM questions
I prefer right side zip due to the fact that I sleep mainly on my right side. I can vent without my back getting cold.I do love all my Western bags. I think at last count I have thirteen.

Thanks for all of the responses. I too am a side sleeper. It appears like the Specialist would be the better choice due to being able to move around more comfortably.

Another vote for the BD Spot. Great lamp. I bearly even notice that I have it on my head. The one watt is plenty bright enough for night hiking.

Patagonia r1 full zip - alternative
I too wish I knew of a cheaper alternative. I looked around and could not find one. I finally pulled the trigger and just bought the R1. It is a great piece. I recommend it.
