Re: Shelter Floors- Sleeping Pads +1 for full length air mats on the AT. Any of the insulated light ones will do just fine. I used a short ridge rest for most of the PCT and would do it again though. |

Re: Blizzard bag plus synthetic blanket inside? Why? Blizzard bag is 13 ounces, a 2.5 XP quilt is about 12 ounces. Together they would weigh the same as your REI bag and be far less comfy. |
