intrinsic clo is clo normalized by surface area, so you can compare the insulation value of garments of different sizes (hats, gloves, vests, jackets)

The jacket is now sold. But to answer your question, I would say it's closer to an athletic medium though for me there was room for another thin insulating layer underneath.
