Insulation only? Patagonia had some nice insulated shells for $120 (from $299). They might be a better deal. How cold is it going to be? Are you looking for insulation or an insulated shell? |

Golite prices While the Golite MSRP's seem crazy to me, so do the prices at REI, EMS, etc. I buy all of my gear on clearance or sales. And Golite has a LOT of them. I have Golite packs and quilts and bags... |

No down? I hike in my down sweater and down coat often at those temps (really, anything from 40-0F is pretty common). If you're worried about moisture, a breathable shell would take care of it. |

Found! Thanks for all the advice, guys. We found some with a lot more insulation at Montbell that should work. Also, I should have been more clear; these are for wearing inside our sleeping bags. |
