My Locale Extreme northern Sierra Nevada
About Me I'm almost 60, single male. I had been in Retail Management for over 30 years. I have mostly solo bped since the early mid '70's. I XC some, not afraid to go alone, I also solo winter camp, have been out in sub-zero temps too. I recently went on a backcountry bp to Alaska with five others into Wrangell/St. Elias NP. Since early 2010, I have been collecting vintage/antique camping and bp stoves, having acquired 65 now. I like many outdoor activities, from bping to dirtbike riding, gardening. I cut my own firewood too.

Most reliable and field serviceable gasoline stove?
MSR Dragonfly. I've only used gas in mine, simmers great and for a long time, very adjustable, add a Berniedawg cap, nice and quiet and still simmers great. Duane

Balls and Sunshine Ripped-off - How did they stash it?
But still. If it was free for the taking, I'm sure it would have had something along the line of "for use by whomever needs this." Duane

Every little bit helps
If nothing else, I like the wood look. I too was disappointed in the cost and no weight savings using a ti/ss spoon over my short plastic spoon. All I did was get a longer spoon to be able to dig...

Sears did this years ago in the store. Has nothing to do with shelf pricing. From what I understand, Sears or any other store would advertise a cheap TV say, then when you went to the store, talk...
