Metal washer, quarter sized but with a big hole in the center to run a string through. I use mason line, bright yellow, so I don't lose it. But it isn't terribly multi use.

I am assuming by LHG you mean the Lightheart Gear Duo tent? We tried it for one night, and it didn't work too well for us because my bf kept knocking down the poles in the middle of the night ...
