This was a timely posting. I'd been looking at offerings from KUIU and kifaru but was put off by all the pockets, zippers and unneccessary weight. The paradox in xpac looks like a solid option....

Butter
I pack whole sticks of pastured butter and put 1/4 stick in every meal. Viola- everything is comfort food

NPT
The Northville-Placid Trail at 120 miles is one of the longer options. Lots of ways to turn sections of the NPT into loops as well.

I store mine in the freezer too, space permitting. It gets bagged up after it comes out of the dehydrator, and I let it cool on the countertop, making sure that there is no condensation in the bag ...
