IF alcohol stoves were a significant source of forest fires - I would understand the bans. BUT THEY ARE NOT. So the regulations banning them are the "lowest common denominator" rule...

Sit pad? You better be really light
There are a couple downsides to this material - (1) High altitude will cause it to over-inflate and go flat, so don't expect it to last for years (2) Using it as a sit pad will ruin it's in...
