I like my shell layer to be loose. I like the heat pump effect of the loose fabric for both heat and moisture control.

Cesar, that's a good (or bad!) story. Ray Mears would've built a lean-to while drunk before passing out in front of the fire. :) I think they cut that scene for some reason.
