About Me Originally from Louisiana, I enjoyed camping in my Boy Scouting days and eventually became an Eagle Scout. Many years later (2002), I discovered backpacking after going on an REI multisport trip to Alaska. My first backpack was to Grand Canyon, and I was hooked!

Are you sure about that Stephen? Johnson Outdoors own a bunch of brands including Silva. Primus is a sister company to Brunton.

I just got lucky ; ). It's missing the west boundary portion likely due to quadrangle change. It may be the best you would find online. I'm sure someone could piece it together in a .jpg or...

haha..yes, I was playing around. Actually I was wanting to try this with silnylon, just a basic 8 ft long A frame with closed ends, about 4 ft wide for one person.

Nice report. Yes, the water you found at that trail junction (or down from it a bit) is Bonito Seep. The sign is down. Right after that junction is when the switchbacks start up White Horse Hill. ...
