About Me I dream of thru hikes but work and family get in the way. Am familiar with most OH and western PA trails; Isle Royale; a little of Rocky Mountain NP; AT from Springer to Hot Springs; some of Monongahela in WV. Have also been on PCT in Yosemite and Mt San Jacinto area in CA and Mt Jefferson area in OR; Bailey Range in Olympic; Wind River Crest in WY. Pack weight 8-12 pounds in all seasons. Happy Trails.

Better than I thought . . .
I gave it a try, and found I could create sawtooth edge with 3 teeth per inch. It actually cuts wood! I could improve it by bending the teeth outward a tiny bit alternating the direction of the out...

Hmmm . . .
I could file serrations into one edge of a trowel. However, the trowels are thin (0.016" thick), so I don't think they would work as a wood saw. They probably would work as a serrated knif...
