FS: MSR Missing Link
Bought from a guy unused, and I've used it 3 days, as part of my unintended plan to try every tent made. Has a tyvek footprint, and aircore nano guylines from BPL. $100, plus you pay actual shi...

Trail claws
I hope New England Footware figures out a way to make the trail claws last on the Sun Dragons. My 13 year old wore completly thru both layers of the claw on his first day hike, up Guadelupe Peak in...

Water shoes
I got some Technicas on Steep and Cheap not long ago for $18 that are very nice. I tried some Salomons, but they fit me wrong.

I know you're a heretic if you use the three initials that start with "R" on this forum, but I've had exceptionally good performance out of my UL 60. Great value, tought pack.

Everyone acts like people were ok in the wild before modern times. People may have known more about how to survive and live off the land, but the wild still exacted a major toll in terms of loss of...

I'm with Sarah, although I like to shoot long range at steel plates, compete with a pistol, and shoot the occasional bird. I also have a CHL, and carry pretty often. That being said, I think it...

Marmot Atom Mens Regular 40 Degree
Nice bag. 1/2 zipper is kind of a pain, and makes it hard to use as a quilt. Seems true to rating.

ULA Catalyst
Replaced my Exos 58 with this, much more comfortable, with more weight. Got a deal on a 2008 model, and added the dual stays. A lot bigger pack than I'll use most of the time. Gained some weight o...

ULA Circuit
Switched to this for more durability, and the ability to carry more water in the desert. Works like a champ, and you couldn't ask for better customer service.

I have to ding it a little for the hip belt. I think the hip belts on the large runs small, because it didn't wrap around me enough to be effective. And that may not be fair to ding it, because al...

Golite Ultra 20
Mine kept me warm in the upper 20s, so I'm happy. I'm not completely sure it would reach 20, and keep you warm for 8 hours. But it's a great product for a great price.
