I started changing myself, when I realized that advancing age and a lack of physical fitness made it impossible to do the silly things I did 35 years ago. Now I have a captive audience of Boy Scout...

I know this forum looks down at REI gear in a big way, but I paid $219 for a T3 last weekend. After replacing the stakes, and losing the storage bags, it weighs 4.55#. That isn't bad for a 3 pe...

I seriously doubt most animals have seen a Taco Bell commercial to know what a burrito looks like, let alone tastes. Could be wrong though, they may have gotten a magazine out of a trash can.

Marmot Atom Mens Regular 40 Degree
Nice bag. 1/2 zipper is kind of a pain, and makes it hard to use as a quilt. Seems true to rating.

Replaced my Exos 58 with this, much more comfortable, with more weight. Got a deal on a 2008 model, and added the dual stays. A lot bigger pack than I'll use most of the time. Gained some weight o...

ULA Circuit
Switched to this for more durability, and the ability to carry more water in the desert. Works like a champ, and you couldn't ask for better customer service.

I have to ding it a little for the hip belt. I think the hip belts on the large runs small, because it didn't wrap around me enough to be effective. And that may not be fair to ding it, because al...

Golite Ultra 20
Mine kept me warm in the upper 20s, so I'm happy. I'm not completely sure it would reach 20, and keep you warm for 8 hours. But it's a great product for a great price.
