EN13537 vs US based Temp ratings
Pretty sure WM bags have been EN tested, or so they told me on Facebook once. Good luck finding the data though. My Megalite has been spot on though.

Family sues over girl's death at Big Four Ice Caves
Tragedy happened, we should make money. After the lawyer gets his cut. It's the American way. Having warning signs would have made absolutely no difference, that family would have still gone do...

Sterno cook pot and stand
I have one of those Sterno stoves like that somewhere, but I never backpacked with it. The real UL way to cook was over a wood fire.

Nice bag. 1/2 zipper is kind of a pain, and makes it hard to use as a quilt. Seems true to rating.

Replaced my Exos 58 with this, much more comfortable, with more weight. Got a deal on a 2008 model, and added the dual stays. A lot bigger pack than I'll use most of the time. Gained some weight o...

ULA Circuit
Switched to this for more durability, and the ability to carry more water in the desert. Works like a champ, and you couldn't ask for better customer service.

I have to ding it a little for the hip belt. I think the hip belts on the large runs small, because it didn't wrap around me enough to be effective. And that may not be fair to ding it, because al...

Mine kept me warm in the upper 20s, so I'm happy. I'm not completely sure it would reach 20, and keep you warm for 8 hours. But it's a great product for a great price.
