I wasn't trying to say it can't still be bad, like the others said. Still a chance for hypothermia, but like those guys say, "Be Prepared".

I wouldn't say it is impossible that there would be snow, but I'd say the odds are very, very small. And it should melt pretty fast.

I like the Golite Ultra idea, but then I want to try one for myself. Too bad you can't rent. You might check Geartrade, I saw a couple of 0 bags on there at really good prices. And I think I...

"Hang some raw bacon over your buddy's tent instead. Have video camera waiting!" That would be hilarious, if I didn't already feel so guilty for sneaking a six pack of beer int...

OK, I couldn't stand it. S&C had these for a great price, so I bought one. Anyone done any weight reduction on these? I know the easy thing to do is loose the factory cozy and lid. I plan o...

I shortened my straps as far as they would go the other night, and got it pretty low on the windward side. It was blowing about 40. I just pulled tension, and put the stake in under tension.

I have too many years invested in learning the taut line hitch to abandon it on a whim. Where was the SHH when I was a child?

That is a more accurate re-statement of what I said. And it's probably a gas well, being Utah. Guess I'm just bitter, I can't drive down a highway with seeing thousands of big, ugly win...

I was on a BSA canoe trip last spring, and thought I was going to freeze to death the first night. Very high humidity, temp in the upper 30s / low 40s. Guess it can happen to anyone. Mine was on th...

Nice bag. 1/2 zipper is kind of a pain, and makes it hard to use as a quilt. Seems true to rating.

Replaced my Exos 58 with this, much more comfortable, with more weight. Got a deal on a 2008 model, and added the dual stays. A lot bigger pack than I'll use most of the time. Gained some weight o...

Switched to this for more durability, and the ability to carry more water in the desert. Works like a champ, and you couldn't ask for better customer service.

I have to ding it a little for the hip belt. I think the hip belts on the large runs small, because it didn't wrap around me enough to be effective. And that may not be fair to ding it, because al...

Golite Ultra 20
Mine kept me warm in the upper 20s, so I'm happy. I'm not completely sure it would reach 20, and keep you warm for 8 hours. But it's a great product for a great price.
