Top Ten Bikepacking Trails
Interesting. A buddy and I are discussing a semi-guided ride on the Kokopelli trail. Not gonna bikepack though, gonna let an outfitter haul our junk ahead each day.

You're black? To be honest, I never really thought about it.

My Paleo
Salmon for breakfast. That's the most disgusting thing I've ever heard of. I think I'd rather lick an ashtray!

I have a couple of their vests, and really like them. Not very light though.

US only medical conditions
And thanks a bunch, my New Year's resolution was to not buy any new gear, or read (much less post) in Chaff. I was tricked!

US only medical conditions
Texans? Now that was uncalled for. Why not Liberals? I'd get offended, but honestly, that would imply some sort of respect for the other 49 that I just can't muster. Secede! Please feel ...

Marmot Atom Mens Regular 40 Degree
Nice bag. 1/2 zipper is kind of a pain, and makes it hard to use as a quilt. Seems true to rating.

Replaced my Exos 58 with this, much more comfortable, with more weight. Got a deal on a 2008 model, and added the dual stays. A lot bigger pack than I'll use most of the time. Gained some weight o...

ULA Circuit
Switched to this for more durability, and the ability to carry more water in the desert. Works like a champ, and you couldn't ask for better customer service.

I have to ding it a little for the hip belt. I think the hip belts on the large runs small, because it didn't wrap around me enough to be effective. And that may not be fair to ding it, because al...

Golite Ultra 20
Mine kept me warm in the upper 20s, so I'm happy. I'm not completely sure it would reach 20, and keep you warm for 8 hours. But it's a great product for a great price.
