Hey Dale, The fix is a neoprene washer as stated above. It will allow your Platy threads to seat deeper into the female Sawyer threads and it will grab the Platy threads with no leaks. Cost = 39...

I replaced the hose washer with the same diameter thin black neoprene washers and platys and other bottles seal nicely.
