Hmm...didnt know all of that....i guess a big, heavily populated park like Yosemite doesnt need drunk people camping and discharging firearms or pepper spray at every bear they see instead of using...

ture...smarts is the ultimate UL bear protection.... i carry pepper spray which according to this local mountain zoo bear people, will work just fine... but danggit sometimes guns are just cool....

ahh true...i had the velcro, shock cord and locks lying around...so i suppose that ups the price by a few bucks....like you mention though...the big killer is shipping from multiple places...so try...

i go the climashield from thru-hiker....$30 for the two yards, comes in 60 in wide roll and honestly i ended up with closer to 78 in of apex the 1.1 nylon is from DIY and was cheap stuff at around...
